Isla Holbox.
Holbox is an island located in the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, a paradise where one can experience the
almost untouched nature, wild flora and fauna, breathtaking landscapes and beautiful beaches of white sand and warm
waters.
The island has an area of approximately 43 km long and 2 km wide and lies within the ecological reserve of Yum
Balam. It is a place almost untouched that remains unfulfilled, but has incredible natural qualities and area to be
a renowned tourist destination worldwide.
Holbox is a rough diamond jealously guarded by Mexico.

The island is separated from the mainland by the lagoon Yalahau, where abundant mangroves and small islands. At
the edge of the lagoon is the spring where spring water that feeds the lake. In the lagoon and its surroundings,
you can find all kinds of animals, birds and fish: you can observe pink flamingos, herons, pelicans, sea swallows,
iguanas, dolphins, whale sharks, mantas, turtles ..
North of the island of Holbox may find fabulous beaches stretching about 34 km long, white sandy beaches lined with
sea shells accompanied by warm and calm waters. The island has a small town, most are engaged in fishing and the
sea. They are simple people, cheerful and friendly. In the town's restaurants can delight in the tasty and fresh
